2nd pick: #2 (Dangerfield) (4-1) - This colt cost $450,000 as a Keeneland Sales yearling last September. Working steadily for trainer Doug O'Neill,this son of 'Into Mischief' drilled a sharp five furlongs from the gate June 19.
3rd pick: #7 (Chasing Aces) (6-1) - Trainer Pete Miller has had a pair of first out juvenile winners at this meet. He sends out this $225K son of 'Flatter' off of some quick drills over at San Luis Rey Downs. He may be ready, and at a square price.
4th pick: #10 (Silver Assault) (5-2) - He's listed as the morning line favorite, but debuting colt will need to break running from his outside post. Working fast, his Hall of Fame trainer (Jerry Hollendorfer) wins at a solid 25% first out.
