Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (Altaira) (3-1) - Filly drops to a new low after finishing an even third here at this distance racing for twice this tag Jan 3. She draws a good post for the trip and Bejarano is aboard for the first time. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Unusual Storm) (7-2) - She's racing first off a Dean Greenman claim and second back from almost a two month break. Four-year-old rallied to finish third at this level going a 1/16th shorter in her return and is a win threat in this spot.
3rd pick: #6 (Bosserette) (5-1) - The main speed, her career was put on hold for a year beginning in late August of 2014. She's been competitive in three of four facing tougher since returning last August 1. Her speed makes her dangerous as she drops to a new low.
4th pick: #5 (Kelbaker) (4-1) - Very lightly-raced she has some early speed, but will need to rate a bit as 'Bosserette' is quicker from the gate. May grab a minor award if that strategy is used.
