Gelding had to avoid a fallen rival last out and that led to an even fourth place finish. He had just missed in his previous pair and stalker draws inside of the other contenders.
2nd pick: #5 (Saratoga San) (12-1) - Longshot is the second of the Desormeaux pair. He raced evenly at this level and distance Dec 2 at Del Mar in his best to date. He's the type that can 'run all day' and think he can factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #3 (Downside Up) (10-1) - Speed/stalker is stretching out in distance and gets a rider upgrade to veteran Stu Elliott. His early speed should have him in this from gate-to-wire at long odds.
