Top pick: #1 (STU'S GONE WILD) - Has the rail, good early speed and he finished a close-up fourth last out here at this price in his first start in seven weeks. Colt has come back with a near bullet half-mile work seven days ago and can take this at a nice price.
2nd pick: #6 (Detective Poirot) - Gelding was an easy wire-to-wire maiden winner at Fairplex a month ago and is conservatively spotted in his first facing winners by trainer Jack Carava. Improving, and a threat right back.
3rd pick: #5 (Los Bomberos) - He set a fast pace before weakening here at this level on Sept. 30. Doesn't have a stalking gear, so he'll need to be sent hard early and try and hang on late. Not impossible.
