She's been competitive in all three start on conventional dirt and each has come at Santa Anita. Four-year-old gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Art of War) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, she finished second here at this tag and trip Feb 12. It was her second start back off a two month break and her first ever at this low a claiming price. An obvious win candidate and I could have easily made her the top choice.
3rd pick: #3 (Comealongwithme) (6-1) - Mare has some early speed and last out she tired after setting a pressure pace in the same last race as 'Art of War.' She was 3.5-lengths behind that rival in what was her second back off a 10.5 month layoff. Can factor with some improvement.
