2nd pick: #3 (Just Bookin) (5-2) - Racing at or near this claiming price, filly has gone 8-0-5-1 over the past year. 4yo has earned the place spot in three of six locally, and she must be considered a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Back Street Cat) (6-1) - I thought she received a very poor ride at Los Alamitos Dec. 11th. Racing with apprentice Clarisse aboard, filly did not break sharply, and raced in traffic until the final furlong. Barn has another apprentice aboard, but I think she can contend at a square price in this spot.
