Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (GEM OF A GUY) (8-5) - NEW gelding missed by just under a length here at this $30K tag going 5.5 furlongs Jan. 15. He's worked since, is back on a quick turnaround, and will be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #3 (Fabrication) (4-1) - He had some traffic issues when beaten almost 12 lengths here at this level and distance Dec. 30. He was much sharper in his previous race and is dangerous with a repeat of that effort.
3rd pick: #7 (Pure Moment) (12-1) - Longshot tired from between horses while showing early speed when finishing far behind 'Gem of a Guy' while debuting Jan. 15. Good barn (Jeff Bonde, 16% second time out), and look for a much better effort today.
4th pick: #8 (Grand Air) (20-1) - Very wide here Jan. 26, he's brought back in 10 days, and may grab a minor award at a big price.
