Daughter of "Bernardini" coast $260K and hasn't shown much in either of her starts. However, both came on the Del Mar "poly" and she's training well locally for her first race on the turf.
2nd pick: #4 (Sarach) - Another of the Mandella three-some,she raced evenly when debuting in a Del Mar sprint on Sept. 1. Home-bred filly has worked on this surface five times since and will be stretching out in distance and performing on the grass.
3rd pick: #5 (Irish Presence) - Much improved effort second-time out saw her away slowly and race evenly once in stride while finishing 6th of 10. She was beaten just over two lengths going "down the hill" here on Oct. 7. Strong factor today.
