He broke his maiden here going 5 1/2 furlongs for a $30K tag Oct. 28 and enters off a bullet half-mile work here Jan. 10.
2nd pick: #3 (Get Em Up Scout) (8-5) - The probable favorite, he's one of two entered by trainer Steve Miyadi. Stalker has been sharp in two straight and is the field's only two-time winner. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Walk On Water) (4-1) - The second of the pair from trainer Miyadi, he has good early speed and has been competitive in five of his six starts. He was three lengths back of 'Get Em Up Scout' last out and had some traffic problems in mid-stretch.
