Raised up in class March 19, she tired after a wide trip facing special weights. Drops back down, and she worked a solid half-mile here April 2. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Princess Kendra) (7-2) - Stretch runner has finished 2nd here in three straight starts. Much improved since late February, filly must be considered a win candidate against this group.
3rd pick: #4 (Seattle Salt) (8-1) - Very fast from the gate, she set a quick pace before weakening to finish a distant 3rd here at this level March 24. It was her best since coming back from a 10-month layoff Jan. 17th, and mare is a threat to 'steal' this.
4th pick: #1 (Stylistic) (3-1) - Lightly raced 6yo is dropping way down in class and will be racing on conventional dirt for the first time. 6yo has good early speed and breaks from the rail. She needs to avoid an early pace struggle with 'Seattle Salt' to have any chance at winning this.
