Filly had run well going five furlongs when debuting Nov. 15 at Del Mar, and I think she's set for a big effort at a square price today.
2nd pick: #2 (La Shirimp) (4-1) - Lasix is added to Irish import who finished 2nd of 20, beaten 1.5 lengths when debuting in a six furlong sprint at the Naas course in her native country Sept. 19. Training steadily and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Confidently) (8-1) - Nicely bred filly ships from the Fair Grounds where she raced very wide when beaten by three lengths in a 5.5-furlong grass sprint Jan. 25. A daughter of 'War Front,' she's taken money in all three attempts, and is in the win mix at a big price.
4th pick: #7 (Hello Bubbles) (7-2) - 'Bubbles' is cutting back in distance following a pair of even efforts going two-turns at this level. Her best race in four starts came when beaten just a 1/2 length here at this level and distance Oct. 6.
