2nd pick: #4 (Silver Medallion) - Competitive on both turf and "poly" this improving son of "Badge of Silver" is in the barn of Steve Asmussen and last out won the El Camino Real Derby up at Golden Gate. Working nicely here for his first race on conventional dirt and Gomez is aloft today. Stretch threat at a big price.
3rd pick: #11 (Jaycito) - He's one of a pair entered by the Baffert barn abd they'll race uncoupled. Highly thought of last year, he finished a distant and "troubled" second in his seasonal debut to "Pegasus" and it was a solid overall effort. Blinkers are added, but he draws a tough outside post and will need to avoid a wide trip.
4th pick: #9 (Anthony's Cross) - Dramatically improved in his last pair since blinkers were added, he rallied into a blistering pace to win the Bob Lewis S.(G2) on Feb. 12 and hasn't run since. Working nicely and a threat if the pace is fast/contested.
