Top pick: #3 (BIKINI BOTTOM) (1-1) - The probable heavy favorite, she missed by a head here at this level on Feb. 21 and has worked very fast since. Bargain priced ($4000) filly meets a weak field an is much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Sweet Irish Lass) (5-1) - She showed little in her debut, but it came facing state-bred special weights in late January and the Hollendorfer barn will add blinkers and drop her into a claimer. Nakatani is back on the re-ride and this filly shoul be competitive this afternoon.
3rd pick: #7 (Rich in Tradition) (9-2) - Filly was competitive in her first four appearsnces, but has been on the sidelines since a poor effort on Aug. 31 at Del Mar. Owner/trainer Raf Deleon has her working steadily and she can factor at a square price if ready.
4th pick: #5 (Poppy Love) (8-1) - Debuting home-bred by "Benchmark" has been in steady training since late Jan. and had a fine half-mile gate breeze here on Feb. 23. She has a superior speed rider aboard (Marty Pedroza) and is a threat with a fast break.
