2nd pick: #4 (Turing Machine) (8-1) - No-speed type moves up in class, switches from dirt to turf, and is stretching out in distance. Competitive in two of three on the dirt, she's bred for the grass and think she's a late threat at a big price.
3rd pick: #8 (Brandon's Law) (5-1) - East Coast shipper hasn't raced since Nov. 21. Daughter of 'Stay Thirsty' has a new trainer (Vlad Cerin) and he drops her into a claimer, switches her from dirt to turf, and stretches her out in distance. She's worked here a half-dozen times since Jan. 19 and seems set for her return.
4th pick: #7 (Unlucky Hillary) (4-1) - Even-paced 4-year-old has been idle since Aug. 3 at Del Mar. She's another dropping down and is on the grass for the first time. Stretch runner can factor if ready.
