2nd pick: #3 (Sassy Brunette) (6-1) - She was much improved last out when she raced evenly after a "stumbling" start going 7 furlongs at Hollywood Park at this level on Dec. 9. Veteran Art Sherman stretches her out in distance and runs her on conventional dirt for the first tims.
3rd pick: #8 (Diamond Flush) (3-1) - Blinkers went on last out and this filly closed fast to miss by a neck at this tag and trip Nov. 29 at Hollywood Park. She's worked locally since and is a stretch threat in this spot.
