Top pick: #7 (LOLO EL CANONERO) (9-2) - He's been competitive in both starts since dropping down to this $12.5K claiming price. Stalker draws a nice outside post at this 7-furlong distance and there's enough speed to his inside to help his style out. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Rusty Road) (7-2) - Speedy sort has been freshened up since Dec. 14. He set the pace and was nailed in the last few strides to be beaten a "neck" racing at this tag going 8.5-furlongs. Working well for his return and a threat if ready.
3rd pick: #3 (Hidden Zensation) (7-2) - He had a very wide trip last out and finished 5 1/2 lengths behind today's rival "Matzoh Ball Soup." Stalker should enjoy the additional furlong he travels today and is a win candidate.
4th pick: #6 (Matzoh Ball Magic) (5-2) - Gelding rallied to finish second at this level Feb. 16 going 6-furlongs. Nice effort was his first at this tag and he must be left under consideration.
