Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (BRILLIANT NOTES) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he's finished second here in two straight since coming off a 2.5 month break Sept. 15. The latest of that pair came at this level Oct. 15 and earned him a career best figure.
2nd pick: #2 (Itasca Falls) (3-1) - Speedy filly has raced herself back into shape after returning from a 12.5 month layoff Sept. 8. She checked in third here Oct 15 and was just under a length in back of 'Brilliant Notes'.
3rd pick: #1 (Master's Bouquet) (6-1) - Lightly-raced home bred has raced evenly in her first pair both coming here at this level in sprints. She has some speed, runs first back from a two month freshening, and does so with blinkers off.
4th pick: #4 (Tactical Scout) (15-1) - Longshot moves from grass to dirt, shortens up in distance, and is back in with fellow Oklahoma breds. She was far behind 'Brilliant Notes' Sept. 15, but showed an improved effort on the grass a month later.
5th pick: #9 (La Gato Salvaje) (20-1) - Well bred filly was competitive earlier this year in four straight at Will Rogers Downs at this level. However since coming off a three month break Aug. 17 she hasn't been the same horse. Can factor today at a big price if she can return to her spring form.
