Premium Pick

Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (TEE TEE) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, home bred son of 'Blame' raced very wide when finishing fourth when debuting here at this level and distance Sept. 5. Heavily bet that day, trainer Syeve Asmussen (23% second-time out) has given him six weeks to recover. The top choice, but race has a strong looking field, so make sure you reverse your bets with him.

2nd pick: #10 (Zombie Alan) (9-2) - One of two entered by trainer Don Von Hemel and the pair race uncoupled. Gelding has early sped and has been competitive in both local starts. Working fast, he moves of the rail while switching from grass to dirt.

3rd pick: #6 (D R C Majestic Man) (10-1) - Longshot tok taken betting action in both starts this past summer at Prairie Meadows. He showed good early speed in his debut there June 30, then lost all chance July 22 when be broke very poorly. Working fast and he's a threat at a big price.

4th pick: #4 (Panic Button) (6-1) - One of three making their debuts, son of 'Mineshaft' is working both steadily and above average locally. From a capable barn (Boyd Caster) and he's done well here with horses owned by Gary and Mary West.

5th pick: #1 (Cedar Sage) (8-1) - Bred for speed, he showed it before tiring when debuting here Sept. 5. He set fast and pressured fractions that day and has worked fast since. Must be left in the mix.
