2nd pick: #4 (Willy Special Cats) (7-2) - Gelding is cutting back in distance after tiring late while wide to finish 4th at this level going a mile Nov. 8. It was his first following a Karl Broberg claim and he has him back in for the price paid ($20,000). A contender.
3rd pick: #8 (High Noon Typhoon) (6-1) - He raced greenly but showed some talent debuting here against tougher going 7.5 furlongs on the grass Nov. 2. A NEW gelding, trainer Veronica Griggs drops him in class while moving him to the dirt.
4th pick: #9 (Rebel Rumble) (15-1) - Home bred missed by a length when debuting here at this level Aug. 31, then followed that up with a wide and even effort facing better Oct. 24. Back in a claimer, think he's capable of factoring at a big price.
