Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (POPS CLASSIC RIDE) (5-1) - Price play drops following a non contending effort going 5.5 furlongs here for a $20K tag Oct. 11. It was his first start since March 26 and had the look of nothing more than a conditioning effort. Brought back in 12 days with a big drop in price, I like his chances.
2nd pick: #3 (Ranger Bob) (3-1) - 'Bob' finished second here at this level going 5.5 furlongs Aug. 30, but checked in an even and distant fourth in his follow up Oct. 11. He's stretching out to 7 furlongs for the first time and should factor in this spot.
3rd pick: #2 (Crowned Leader) (6-1) - A lightly raced home bred, he's finished second in two straight at this level and did so at this distance Sept. 20. 3yo is clearly improving and must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #8 (Out On Saturday) (5-1) - Tough call as he's taking a big drop in class for his first race since July 19. He showed sharp early speed before tiring facing tougher at Prairie Meadows last out and is a serious player in his first at Remington Park.
