2nd pick: #5 (Chosen Heir) (3-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, he's nicely spotted after winning an entry-level allowance here at this distance May 24. It was his second back from a 6.5 month layoff and ran his local record to 10-3-3-3. An obvious win candidate and I could have easily made him the top choice.
3rd pick: #6 (Downhill Dale) (6-1) - He's carved out a nice career racing on the dirt 54-9-8-8 ($200K in earnings) and is making his first start ever on a synthetic surface. He's finished second in his last pair at Penn National and is a stretch threat if he takes to the footing.
