Top pick: #6 (FAST ANNA) (8-5) - Very lightly-raced colt just missed last out at Saratoga in the King's Bishop Stakes (G1). He flew out of the gate that day and was caught in the last two strides by the promising "The Big Beast." Son of "Medaglia d'Oro" has worked fast since and is the horse to catch and beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Favorite Tale) (3-1) - Interesting gelding is the only horse entered who has won here in the past and he's undefeated (3 for 3) on it. Speed/stalker has the rail, is in career best shape, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Prudhoe Bay) (6-1) - Colt rallied from close range to win Monmouth's (G3) Jersey Shore at this trip on Aug. 16. He was a 1/2 length better than "Favorite Tale" that day and this home bred is in the win batter.
4th pick: #5 (Pure Sensation) (5-1) - Grey colt is going turf to dirt and shortening up in distance. Colt has gone 7-1-5-1 on the dirt and he's been stakes placed several times in those. Must be left in the mix.
