Top pick: #5 (MARTHA'S SHADOW) - Indiana Downs shipper just missed there at this level racing on the grass July 5 and she's been freshened up for the past eight weeks by trainer Eric Reed. Three-year-old has a bullet work at Keeneland Aug. 16 that should have her on edge for this attempt. Stalker is lightly raced, still improving, and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #8 (Johannah Jo) - Home-bred was bet heavily in her debut here Aug. 1 and rallied in the last furlong to win going away facing a field of special weights going 5 furlongs. The high-percentage barn of trainer Bill Martin brings her back quickly, and stretches her out in distance for her first start facing winners. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Princess Natalie) - Filly rallied from far back to win going away facing special weights at a mile here July 31 in her first start ever on the grass. She's been showing steady improvement heading into that contest, and is a stretch threat again tonight as she faces winners for the first time.
