She was an easy winner here going 8.5 furlongs in the Eatontown Stakes (G3) June 22 and came back with a sharp half-mile work July 13. I give this 5yo a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Competitionofideas) (2-1) - It wouldn't be a turf stakes for fillies and mares on the East Coast without a horse or two from the barn of Chad Brown. He has this very consistent strong finisher racing 3rd back following 4.5 months on the sidelines. A G1 winner in late December at Santa Anita, she's finished second in her return pair at Belmont including a loss by a 'neck' going 10 furlongs in a G2 June 7. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (I'm So Fancy) (9-2) - Irish import kept excellent company in her home-land has run well in both starts in No. America since coming off an 8-month layoff May 18. Mare was an easy winner of a $100K stakes on the Laurel turf June 16 and has been working fast at the Fair Hill Center for this attempt. 5yo is in the win mix at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Dark Artist) (10-1) - Not a win candidate, but she has a ground saving post and last out was almost 3 lengths in back of 'I'm So Fancy'. A 4yo daughter of 'Paynter', she's capable of getting a share at a square price.
