Working very fast for his first race in two months and this one may have a very bright future.
2nd pick: #8 (Uncle Lino) (5-2) - Speed/stalker enters off a distant third-place finish in the $1,000,000 Santa Anita Derby (G1) April 9. He did well on a sloppy surface which I don't believe he cared for. Son of 'Uncle Mo' has worked fast since ad should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #2 (Curlin Rules) (6-1) - Lightly-raced colt has a speed/stalking style and breaks just off the inside. Improving son of 'Curlin' is another facing stakes opposition for the first time. Can be in this at a square price with another step forward.
4th pick: #9 (Rare Candy) (8-1) - NEW gelding moves up in class following a pair of second-place finishes at Santa Anita facing weaker. Stalker is working fast for this and appears headed in a positive direction.
