Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (JONNY'S CHOICE) (5-1) - I liked him last week when he was sprinting here at this tag. He set a pressured pace and weakened late to be beaten five lengths. It was his first start in almost 12-weeks and he may have been a bit short. Trainer Mark Glatt brings him back quickly and has him stretching out to a distance he's run well at in both attempts. Price play.
2nd pick: #1 (Dustin's Passion) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he missed by a 1/2 length at this distance April 3 at Santa Anita. Very lightly-raced 6-year-old has the rail, and was a winner here Dec 19 in his only previous local appearance. Very dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (Valentine Boy) (5-1) - Veteran is stretching back out in distance in his second back off a seven week break. Stalker has won twice here in the past and they were both at this mile distance.
4th pick: #8 (Deputy's Command) (6-1) - Old timer enters off an even effort at this tag and trip March 25 at Santa Anita. He's beaten tougher in the past and has a fine record at this distance 8-1-2-2.
5th pick: #6 (Warren's Rail Bird) (8-1) - No-speed type is another that's stretching back out in distance. He fits on figures, but will need a fast and/or contested pace for anything more than a small slice.
