Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (UNINVITED) (2-1) - He's one of three trained by Bob Baffert that are entered in this one-mile maiden contest for 2-year-olds. Racing at this level and distance at Del Mar Nov 15, he set a quick and pressured pace before weakening to check in fourth in a strong field. He's worked twice since, including a bullet half mile Dec 1 at Santa Anita. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Lets Meet in Rio) (9-2) - Another from the Baffert barn, he's broken poorly in both sprints and will be stretching out to a mile for the first time. Juddmonte home bred continues to work fast and is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Kionntal) (6-1) - Colt chased a daylight winner in his debut and held gamely to finish fourth, beaten 10-lengths, but only a 1/2 length removed from the place spot. Bred to enjoy this longer distance and expect him to be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #1 (Watch My Dust) (5-1) - Colt rallied to finish second when debuting at Santa Anita Oct 24. He regressed a bit last out, but had some traffic issues and was only a length back of 'Kionntal.' Has the rail and must be left in the mix.
