2nd pick: #2 (Kenji's Giant) (7-2) - Very lightly raced, he finished a 'head' in back of 'Marvelous Max' at this tag and trip Aug. 18th at Del Mar. It was his first race in six months and first in a claimer. Working fast since, he's from the dangerous barn of Rich Baltas.
3rd pick: #3 (Picture Tube) (8-1) - Away slowly in two of his three starts, 3yo by 'Malibu Moon' rallied strongly to miss by a 'nose' going seven furlongs at Del Mar for a $20K tag on Sept. 3rd. Claimed that day, new barn doubles him up in price, and stretches him out in distance.
4th pick: #1 (Magik Pepper) (3-1) - He's dropping in class and moves from grass to dirt for trainer Phil D'Amato. Well bet in his last pair, he should like the long local stretch.
