It was first back off a pair of six month break and trainer Ed Freeman has him making back-to-back starts for the first time since the middle of 2015. Gets the edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Stormin Trick) (4-1) - Speedy sort is another dropping in class. Four-year-old has the rail and should be involved every step in his first at this $8,000 claiming tag.
3rd pick: #6 (Skookum Spirit) (5-1) - He's been freshened up since July 30 when he broke his maiden going six furlongs at Del Mar for a $20K price tag. Speed/stalker has worked three times since and is a threat in his first facing winners.
4th pick: #5 (Outthink' Em) (8-1) - Longshot is working fast for his first since Aug 4. His form has dipped a bit lately, but he has races earlier this year that make him a threat at a square price if repeatable.
