This English bred has gone 7-3-3-1 so far, with all of those starts coming at a nile or longer on the grass. An easy wire-to-wire winner of a $206K stakes Sept. 14 at Belmont Park, she's the main speed and will be very tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #4 (Winter Sunset) (8-1) - This improving daughter of 'Tapit' enters off an easy 2.5 length win in a $200K mile stakes at Indiana Downs Sept. 4. She has a flexible style and it's noted she was only a 1/2 length in back of 'Blowout' early in the year at Tampa Bay Downs in the Florid Oaks.
3rd pick: #7 (Catch a Bid) (9-2) - Another of the trio from Chad Brown, this lightly raced filly has been sharp in all three starts. Stretch runner won a $100K stakes going a mile Aug. 22 at Saratoga and has worked a half-dozen times since. She has a lot of room for upside and is dangerous in this spot.
4th pick: #5 (Wildlife) (15-1) - Longshot rallied to finish second in a $350K stakes at Kentucky Downs Sept. 8. No speed type is capable of getting a share at a big price if the pace is fast and/or contested.
