It was her first start in two months, her first around two-turns, and she followed that up with a 3rd place finish there at this level Feb. 17. She has the rail today, and trainer Brad Cox worked her four times during March before shipping here.
2nd pick: #5 (Shacklette) (8-1) - One of a pair from the McPeek barn, she was scratched out of the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) the other day. She's won two in a row there, has been competitive at this distance in the past, and this filly is a factor at a square price if she brings her Florida form with her.
3rd pick: #3 (Fun Finder) (6-1) - The second of the McPeek fillies, she enters off a 2nd place finish going a mile at Turfway Park in the $100K Bourbonette Stakes March 9. Speedy sort fits and should be involved from gate-to-wire.
4th pick: #2 (Blue Eyed Girl) (15-1) - Longshot is another with some speed and she's facing winners for the first time. Home bred by 'Super Saver' broke her maiden traveling two-turns at Tampa Bay Downs Jan. 20 and enters off a sharp half-mile local work March 29.
