Nicely spotted by the Asmussen barn and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #13 (Shackadelic) (6-1) - She tired badly after chasing the pace while wide debuting here Oct. 12 facing tougher. Filly had some sharp works before her first attempt, is brought back in 11 days, and is dropping into a claimer.
3rd pick: #5 (Sunflower Rose) (3-1) - Blinkers go on filly who finished third following a slow start debuting Sept. 22 at Churchill for a $30K tag. From small samples, trainer Norm Casse wins at a 19% rate second time out and at a 23% clip when adding blinkers.
4th pick: #10 (Mastercraft) (12-1) - A $50K daughter of 'Mizzen Mast', she's shown little in her first pair on the grass facing tougher. Trainer Ian Wilkes drops her into a claimer (16%) switches her to the dirt (21%) and is adding blinkers (12%). Longshot may grab a minor award at a big price.
