I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Odie) (3-1) - He raced very poorly here last out while finishing 12.5 lengths behind 'Baron of Bluegrass'. However, it was his first back following a pair of layoffs and trainer Wesley Ward drops him to a new low, adds blinkers, and John Velazquez gets aboard.
3rd pick: #7 (Eyes On) (6-1) - On the sidelines for just over a year, 4yo takes a big drop in class and returns with blinkers on. Colt has early speed and is dangerous today at this reduced level if ready off the long absence.
4th pick: #1 (Whisper Barrow) (20-1) - Longshot showed nothing here going 8 1/2 furlongs for a $30K tag April 4. It was his first start since Oct. 3 and he's shortening up while dropping down. Believe a minor award at a big price is his ceiling.
