Top pick: #2 (DREAMIN BIG) (7-5) - Mare has a wonderful overall record (21-9-8-1), and is 4-3-1-0 on this surface. Bred/owned/trained by Mike Laurer, she was an easy winner here of a 490K two-turn grass stakes July 17th in one of her best efforts yet. One-run type shortens up in distance, moves back to the dirt, and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #6 (Facey's Spirit) (3-1) - Speedy veteran looks like the only one with a shot at beating "Dreamin." Mare is a professional sprinter (18-5-3-4) at this distance and has gone 7-3-1-2 locally. A stakes winner here in the past, 5-year-old is dangerous if she gets an uncontested lead.

3rd pick: #4 (Yeardley) (7-2) - A stakes winner here in the past, her local slate stands at 6-2-2-1, but she seems to enjoy a bit more real estate. She's lost to "Dreamin" all three times they've met, so a win would be a bit of a surprise.

4th pick: #5 (Lady Allison) (20-1) - Longshot recently broke her maiden here and could grab a minor share at a big price if a speed-duel percolates in the early stages.
