Top pick: #7 (BELLACHINO) (6-1) - Gelding has already proven that he can be competitive at this level and comes off a career best when finishing second at it racing here on May 17th. Stalker has plenty of speed to track and can take this "wide open" affair he avoids any traffic issues.
2nd pick: #6 (Band of Joy) (2-1) - Very speedy gelding races for the first time in almost a year. When last in action he was an impressive 10 length maiden winner on this course at this distance. Training fast for his return and he'll be tough if ready.
3rd pick: #12 (Alke Poker) (9-2) - He has a speed/stalking style and draws a nice outside post out of the chute at this 6-furlong distance. Home-bred runs third back from a half-year's layoff and looks set for a big effort.
4th pick: #3 (Runaway Raj) (8-1) - Lightly-raced colt finished second here at this level on May 1st in his first since late Oct., but tired in his follow up start when he had to be sent hard from an inside draw. Dangerous at a square price.
5th pick: #11 (Thank You Kisses) (12-1) - Longshot ran sneakily well last out and should get a nice pace set up for his one-run style. Capable, and he'll be a very big price.
