Bertrando gelding had put together a string of three good efforts in a row at Santa Anita before the freshening. Horse draws a good post for his stalking ability. He's also working very well, presumably with the blinkers he will wear today for the first time. Sise has adapted just fine to the synthetic surfaces, as he is 7 for 29 up to this point. Love the last swift work which was preceded by slower type drills.
