Top pick: #3 (COAL REGION KID) - Five-year-old by "Medaglia d'Oro" just missed last out here at this price and distance in his second start back off almost a two year layoff. Nice to see him stringing starts together off the long break and he has a maintenance work on July 1st. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Dancing Joy) - Speedy sort has been freshened-up for the past seven weeks and will drop down a bit in price. Small bu capable barn (Lennie Powell) has his set for a big effort and 3-year-old is a win threat
3rd pick: #7 (Warren's Magic Man) - Longshot drops down and goes turf to "poly" for the "ice cold" Van Berg barn. Has some back races that cna land him a share at a very big price.
4th pick: #10 (Alex T) - Good effort last out saw him press the pace and tire slightly to run third, just over 3 lengths off of the top pick here. Goes from the rail to the outside post and will need to avoid a wide journey.
