2nd pick: #6 (Sammartino) - Speed/stalker has finished second in all three starts this year after coming back from a 15-month layoff. In a good barn (Bill Spawr) and he's a threat if he handles the turf, which he's racing on for the first time.
3rd pick: #2 (Bacara) - $500,000 son of "Storm Cat" debuts mid-way through his three-year-old season, so he must have some issues. Working nicely on the main track here and he's in the Baffert barn (22% with debuting stock) and trainers having an outstanding meet (58-18-14-9).
