Top pick: #4 (LATE NIGHT SKY) - Gelding has raced well in both grass starts including a solid 3rd place finish here at this distance Nov. 25. He has a pair of huge works since that effort and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Qatar's Pearl) - Colt was favored in both starts in Ireland and was competitive in each. $420,000 son of "Tapit" had some traffic issues in his local debut but was only a 1/2 length back of "Sky" at the finish. Working nicely since, and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Vibrato Jazz) - Grey colt raced evenly when debuting Oct. 22 at Santa Anita. Trainer John Sadler (26% second-time out) switches him to the turf and stretches him out in distance. Look for a much better effort today.
