(# 2) HONORED GOLD - Freshened-up making first start for Peter Walder which is always a deadly angle. Combine that with Walder's new acquisitions returning off of a layoff - what you have is a solid high percentage play. Honored Gold makes her second start off of a layoff. If you look at the workout lines of this filly going into that race, what you will notice is a series of very fast works - too fast for my liking, especially with cheaper stock like this. Since going to Walder, what you see is two very slow breezes which can only help her conserve her energy for the race at hand, not in the mornings. Sneaky good gate work four days ago. Should sit a good stalking trip.
