Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (COOL MOVER) (7-2) - Well bred 4yo finished a pace chasing 2nd of seven, beaten eight lengths at this tag and trip March 17. It was his first back following a pair of two-month layoffs, and I like that he's making back-to-back starts without the need of a rest.
2nd pick: #4 (Fulgencio) (8-1) - Longshot was a good looking maiden winner here sprinting for twice this price Jan. 18. In his follow up at the same price and trip Feb. 20 he was never involved after being knocked around at the break. Down in price and stretching out to a mile, I think he's a win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #3 (Gran Red) (7-2) - This is start #11 in search of his second win, and the last eight of those have been at this tag and distance. This 4yo has finished 2nd in two of his last five and ran 3rd in his latest while 2.5 lengths in back of 'Cool Mover.' A fast and/or contested pace would help his late running style.
4th pick: #1 (Juan and Bina) (2-1) - Speedy sort has the rail and is dropping down to this $6,250 tag for the first time. He's in the mix, but is no 'lock' at a short price.
