It was her first since Dec. 2 and she was bumped at the break that afternoon. She's worked three times since and daughter of 'Jersey Town' gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Pretty Shea D) (4-1) - Blinkers go on and she moves up in class in her first off a Lou Duco claim. She chased while wide and held on the place spot when debuting going 5.5 furlongs for a $12,500 price tag Jan. 26. She breezed a big bullet half-mile Feb. 17 and is a very strong win candidate despite moving way up in class ($50,000).
3rd pick: #8 (Gretouki) (8-1) - On the sidelines since Dec. 26, filly races first off a Chad Summers claim. Even-paced type has some well above average works showing at Palm Meadows and Irad Ortiz Jr is aboard for her return.
4th pick: #2 (Twice Around ) (10-1) - Speedy filly hasn't raced since Nov. 24 when she tired after setting the pace in a 7 furlong grass contest at Woodbine facing tougher. Working fine, she's in a claimer and on conventional dirt, both for the first time.
