Daughter of 'Kitten's Joy' was much sharper in her previous start, is working fast, draws a better post today, and Luis Saez stays aboard.
2nd pick: #3 (Alasaayil) (8-1) - Longshot looks like the main speed and is moving back to the turf after tiring at this level and distance on the dirt Feb. 9. Competitive on the grass in all three starts, daughter of 'Hard Spun' has John Velazquez aboard for the first time, and this Shadwell home bred is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #5 (Super Patriotic) (6-1) - Filly is stretching out around two-turns for the first time. She missed by a 'neck' sprinting on the grass at this level Feb. 3, then ran evenly in an 'off the turf' contest at the same trip Feb. 27. From a top barn (Mark Casse), I think this filly will be competitive at a square price.
4th pick: #2 (Niko's Dream) (9-2) - A New York bred, she's finished 2nd in two of her last three, and did so here at this level and distance Feb. 9. She has no early speed, so a clean trip and a fast and/or contested pace would help her chances out.
