2nd pick: #7 (Golda) (8-5) - Speedy filly has finished second in both starts, the latest coming here at this distance Dec. 16. Sent to Gulfstream after missing by a 'neck' when debuting in Puerto Rico, she's an obvious win candidate and I almost made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #2 (Sunny My Way) (6-1) - Blinkers go on and she drops from a $50K tag down to run for $16,000 in her second attempt. She showed nothing when debuting at that higher price Dec. 6 but should run much better with the pair of changes.
