2nd pick: #8 (Lenstar) (4-1) - Clearly the main speed, colt has been freshened up for just under two months. Son of 'Shackleford' is working above average at Palm Meadows and trainer Nick Zito has him set for a big effort. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Malagacy) (9-2) - The second of the Pletcher pair, he's also by the stallion 'Shackleford'. If the works listed are accurate he finished on even terms with barn-mate 'Diamond Jim' at Palm Beach Downs going four furlongs Dec 30.
4th pick: #1 (Nfusion) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Ed Plesa Jr, grey colt set a pressured pace and held gamely to finish second when debuting at this level and distance Nov. 20. He has the rail and must avoid an early speed duel with 'Lenstar' who is faster out of the gate.
