2nd pick: #2 (Increased Scrutiny) (3-1) - The probable favorite, 4-year-old is making only her second start. She lost by just over a length when debuting at this level going a mile at Belmont Park Oct. 18. Trainer Chad Brown (29% second time out) has her working steadily and Javier Castellano is back on the re-ride.
3rd pick: #1 (Brainchild) (10-1) - Longshot has been idle since Sept. 24. Working well above average, she races first off a private trainer change to Barclay Tagg. Speed/stalker has the rail and can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Samsara) (6-1) - Lightly-raced, she's dropping into a claimer for the first time and does so with blinkers on. She has early speed and leading rider Luis Saez is aboard. Must be left in the mix.
