Top pick: #8 (GOTCHA GOOD) (4-1) - Filly "bobbled" at the break when debuting here in a dirt sprint on Feb. 9, but recovered quickly to press the pace before tiring in the last furlong. Home-bred is one of two entered by trainer Ed Pleasa, and the pair race uncoupled. He switches her to the grass and I like her chances.

nd pick: #9 (Precious Amanda) (12-1) - The second of the Plesa fillies, she's shown excellent early speed on the dirt facing weaker. Home-bred held better in her second start and longshot is bred to enjoy turf racing.

rd pick: #12 (Coarsegold) (3-1) - Daughter of "Giant's Causeway" has been competitive in all her grass races (4-0-2-2) and has enough positional speed to overcome this outside post. Win candidate down the stretch.

th pick: #6 (Distant Cat) (10-1) - Debuting filly has worked a half-dozen times at Palm Meadows since Jan. 30 and can factor with a "clean" start in this large field.

th pick: #1 (Fine Spun) (20-1) - Longshot hasn't race since late Sept. and will be trying the grass for the first time. She has the rail and with a patient ride can factor at a very big price.
