A $125,000 daughter of Into Mischief', trainer Todd Pletcher has her working fast at the Palm Beach Downs Center and he's switching her to the grass for this attempt. This speed/stalker gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Sunniva) (5-2) - In from the Fair Grounds, 4yo has finished third there in her last pair, both at this level going a bit farther. Daughter of 'Speightstown' has been competitive in all four starts on the grass and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Passion of the Nile) (7-2) - A debuting daughter of the recently deceased 'Pioneer of the Nile', she sold for $300,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2017. She's been in steady training at Payson Park, has the rail, and Jose Ortiz is aboard. A threat if ready.
4th pick: #7 (June Ann) (6-1) - Irish import tired while wide here at this level going a mile Jan. 13. It was her first since Aug. 31 and her first in No. America. In her finale in her home country, she finished 5th of 28, beaten almost 5 lengths facing a field of males at the Curragh.
