Trainer Brian Lynch drops her into a claimer, stretches her out in distance, and she enters off a bullet half-mile breeze at the Palm Meadows Center Jan. 17.
2nd pick: #2 (Eight Minute Ellie) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Dale Romans and the pair race uncoupled. This filly had a poor start here in the slop Jan. 3 and was never involved. In her previous race Nov. 25 at Churchill Downs she had a wide trip from a tough outside post. She's working nicely, drops into a claimer for the first time, and leading rider Luis Saez is aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #7 (Green Park) (9-2) - Debuting filly is well bred and has been in steady training at Payson Park for 'Hall of Famer' Bill Mott. She need not be anything special to factor first out against this group.
