Trainer Kathy Ritvo drops her way down in class, and she's breezed this 2yo twice here this month. The presence of Luis Saez for the first time indicates that the barn likes this one's chances.
2nd pick: #4 (Awesome Evil) (9-2) - Price play has shown good early speed before weakening in both starts facing tougher. Down in class, she has leading rider Jaramillo aboard today, and this filly should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #10 (Magnitude Ten) (5-1) - Blinkers go on this filly who rallied to finish 3rd of 11, beaten just over two lengths here going six furlongs at this $12.5K tag Dec. 5. Her post is of no help, though a fast and/or contested pace would be.
4th pick: #5 (Snow and Lillylynn) (15-1) - Longshot raced evenly when checking in a distant 3rd at this trip for a $20K tag in an 'off the turf' contest Nov. 24. Filly drops back down and is capable of getting a small slice at a big price.
